My goal for your session is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and also with me. I shoot mostly in a documentary style so I can capture you and your loved ones being your most authentic, natural selves. I like to make my sessions fun for everyone involved, so expect to laugh and embrace your most goofy selves when you're with me!
A little bit about me.
I married Haydon, my "high school sweetheart" as they say, in 2020 after 10 years of dating. We have a beautiful baby girl named Tyler and a spunky pit/hound mix named Blue. There is nothing more I enjoy in this world than spending time with my little family.
Fun Fact: If I ever won the lottery, I'd fulfill my dream of buying a large farm so that I could start a dog rescue. They say you have to play to win, so I guess that may just be a pipe dream..
My dad was class clown, so I like to think his humor rubbed off on me. I'm very sarcastic and am totally convinced that I am the funniest person my husband could have possibly married. I am annoyingly forgetful in my day-to-day life and am probably the only person on earth who wishes smartphones didn't exist. I consider myself to be very creative and enjoy doing other hands-on activities like baking and refinishing furniture. I absolutely love being out in nature and will try just about anything once, even if I don't think I'll be good at it.
I currently have a full time position with the state - right now, photography is just something I do for fun on the side. I got my start in photography doing weddings for the first 4-5 years, but due to being overwhelmed, feeling tired of scheduling my life 2 years in advance, and wanting to start a family, I decided to take a step back from weddings at the end of 2022. While there are aspects of shooting weddings that I miss dearly, I am excited to be reenergized and direct my focus to other important milestones and special moments in people's lives.
